Additional Travel

Apart from Palermo, we traveled to other places in Italy!

Cefalù, Taormina, & Agrigento

Views, history, and coast: three characteristics of all of these places that we visited. With their breathtaking sceneries and fantastic food, we explored these Sicilian towns that are renowned for their international tourism.

Climbing the hills of Agrigento, we visited Ancient Greek ruins as later on we walked the Turkish Steps. Cefalù offered us some fantastic seafood and gorgeous views of the sea. Finally we stopped by Taormina, the place where "White Lotus" was recorded.

Syracuse

Founded by the Ancient Greeks around 734 B.C., this Sicilian city hosts UNESCO World Heritage sites. Greek and Roman architecture still survive to this day, and we were fortunate to see some of these sights, such as the Ear of Dionysius.

We stayed in the historic neighborhood of Ortygia and had a great time!

Catania

Did you know that Catania's official symbol is an elephant? Neither did we!

Only a 50-minute drive from Mount Etna, this city contains a dark architecture due to the ashes from volcano eruption. Behind Palermo, Catania is the second largest city in Sicily.

We were fortunate to go inside an Ancient Byzantine crypt thanks to our tour guide.

Florence & Tuscany

Home to the Renaissance masters like da Vinci, Raffaello, and Michelangelo, Florence is full of history, culture and art.

Located in the central Italy, Tuscany portrays beautiful scenery in campania. We stayed in tis area for 5 days and visited surounding villages with beautiful scenarios.
