My name is Diego Maldonado, and I'm from Venezuela. Since joining Northeastern, I prioritized the international experiences that NEU offers. Since then, I learnt how to speak Italian fluently, I studied abroad in Rome in 2022, I attended this Dialogue in 2023, and I plan to study abroad again in Rome for Spring 2024.

In addition to studying during this program, I was hired as the student blogger to take pictures and create a final visual project, hence this website. For me, going to Sicily was one of my best experiences at NEU. I interacted with the faculty on a personal level; and I fostered professional relationships in Italy.

Graduating in May 2024 and majoring in International Affairs, I look at back at this Dialogue as a key experience for my future career aspirations.
